Introduction

Welcome to Women on Wheels, a project by Women on Wheels aimed at empowering women by providing subsidized two-wheelers. This initiative is designed to support women's mobility and independence. By participating in this initiative, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which govern your participation and use of the subsidized two-wheelers.

Eligibility

This initiative is exclusively available to women residing in India. To qualify for the subsidy, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 55 years old. The subsidy is targeted at women from low-income groups to ensure that those in need receive the support. Applicants may be required to provide proof of income to determine eligibility. The definition of low-income groups will be determined by the program guidelines, and verification will be conducted to ensure compliance.

Application Process

Interested applicants must complete the official Women on Wheels application form, which can be obtained from our official website or designated distribution centers. Applicants must submit valid ID proof, an income certificate, proof of residence, and any other required documents as specified in the application form. These documents are necessary to verify the applicant’s eligibility and ensure the proper allocation of subsidies. All applications will undergo a verification process conducted by the Women on Wheels committee. This process may include document verification, interviews, and other necessary checks. The decision of the verification committee will be final and binding.

Subsidy Details

Eligible applicants will receive a subsidy of up to 50% of the total cost of the two-wheeler. The exact percentage will be determined based on the applicant’s income and other criteria outlined by the program. The remaining cost of the two-wheeler must be paid by the applicant. Payment methods will be specified, and applicants must adhere to these methods to complete the purchase. The subsidy is strictly non-transferable and can only be used by the applicant. It cannot be sold, transferred, or assigned to another individual.

Delivery and Ownership

Upon approval of the application, the two-wheeler will be delivered to the applicant’s registered address within a specified period. Applicants will be informed of the delivery schedule and must be available to receive the vehicle. The applicant will be the legal owner of the two-wheeler upon delivery. Ownership documents will be provided, and the applicant is responsible for registering the vehicle as per local regulations.

Usage

The two-wheeler must be used for the purposes stated in the application, which may include personal transportation or business activities. The subsidy aims to enhance mobility and economic opportunities for women. The user must comply with all local traffic laws and regulations. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that the two-wheeler is used safely and legally. Any violations of traffic laws may result in penalties and affect the terms of the subsidy.

Maintenance and Warranty

Regular maintenance of the two-wheeler is the responsibility of the owner. The owner must ensure that the vehicle is kept in good working condition and adheres to the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule. The two-wheeler will come with a manufacturer's warranty as per standard terms. Any issues covered under the warranty must be addressed through the manufacturer’s service centers.

Termination

Any misuse of the subsidy or violation of terms can result in termination of benefits and legal action. Misuse includes but is not limited to using the subsidy for purposes other than those stated in the application, providing false information, or transferring the vehicle to another person. Women on Wheels reserves the right to withdraw the subsidy program at any time without prior notice. In such cases, ongoing applications may be canceled, and no new applications will be accepted.

Limitation of Liability

Women on Wheels is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the two-wheeler. This includes but is not limited to accidents, injuries, or financial losses. The responsibility for safe and lawful use of the vehicle lies with the owner.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
